Lotfi Bouchnak (لطفي بوشناق) is a Tunisian singer, composer, and oud player, widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in contemporary Arab music. Born on January 18, 1952, in Tunis, he developed a passion for music at an early age, mastering the oud and excelling in classical Arab and Andalusian styles.

Bouchnak is known for his powerful voice and deep commitment to preserving and innovating traditional Arabic music. His repertoire spans across genres, including Malouf (Tunisian classical music), Tarab, and modern compositions with political and social themes. He has collaborated with artists across the Arab world and beyond, earning him the title "Pavarotti of the Arab world."
